Lisbon full of activities can be exhausting right?
When the city wears you down, but you cannot go far, head to our favorite garden in Lisbon. The Calouste Gulbenkian Garden.
Here the trees grow tall. The ducks swim in the lakes. The birds fly from tree to tree and lots of locals come to escape the city rush.
Designed by António Barreto in 1957, in the Calouste Gulbenkian Garden we can find many green areas, lakes, waterfalls, terraces with garden, reeds, secret pathways and even an outdoor amphitheater (where most reading lovers use to be).
The diversity of plants is huge and to give the feeling of free nature there are all sorts of animals that can be found.
