Clothing on the Lisbon Dance Party

  1. Form-Fitting Clothing: Wear clothing that allows your instructor to see and correct your body alignment. Choose snug-fitting tops, leotards, or t shirts. For bottoms, leggings or dance shorts are common choices. Avoid wearing baggy or loose clothing that can obstruct movement or make it challenging for your instructor to provide feedback.
  2. Proper Footwear: Trainers are suitable or heels for specific dance classes.
  3. Hair Tied Back: If you have long hair, it’s a good idea to tie it back or secure it in a bun to keep it out of your face and avoid distractions during class.
  4. No Jewelry: Remove any dangling jewelry or accessories that could get caught on clothing or cause injury while dancing.
  5. Comfortable Undergarments: Wear comfortable undergarments that provide support and coverage while allowing for a full range of motion.
  6. Bring Water: Stay hydrated by bringing a water bottle to your dance class. It’s essential to drink water before, during, and after class to prevent dehydration.

Great fun activity to do with friends! I booked this for my sister’s hen do and we had a great time. We did some stretching, a warm up, and then incorporated our warm up moves into our choreography. My sister was made to be the star of the performance and really loved it. An activity for all ages (our party ranged from 19-60). We dressed up for our 80s dance class in neon, leotards, sweatbands etc. which made for a great recording of our dance at the end of the session.

+ PROS: English-speaking dance instructor Easy to learn choreo Great activity for all ages Fun dance which we recorded for the memories
